When you use the contact form, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, and message. If you contact us by email or phone, we receive the information you choose to share. Please avoid sending sensitive information through the contact form.
The Site and its hosting, security, and analytics services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, referring page, pages visited, and the time of a visit. Cookies and similar technologies may be used to operate the Site, remember preferences, protect it from abuse, and understand how it is used. We use information to respond to inquiries, communicate about campaign matters you ask about, operate and improve the Site, protect it against misuse, and meet applicable recordkeeping or legal requirements.

The Site also links to social media and to an external donation service. If you follow an external link, that service’s own privacy policy and terms apply. Donations are completed on the external donation site rather than through the Site’s contact form. Information provided for a political contribution may be collected, retained, and publicly reported as required by campaign finance law and the donation provider’s processes.
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including applicable legal and campaign recordkeeping obligations. We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no website or electronic transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
You can choose not to submit the contact form. To ask about information you submitted, request a correction or deletion where applicable, or stop receiving campaign messages, contact micah@micahvalentine.com or (425) 998-7775. Some information may need to be retained under applicable law.
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the Site, please contact us.
We may update this policy as the Site or our practices change. The updated version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
